Junior Network Engineer About the Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Network Engineer to join our IT team in the EdTech domain In this role you will support the design implementation maintenance and monitoring of the organization s computer networks You will work closely with senior network engineers and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure the network infrastructure operates smoothly securely and efficiently Key Responsibilities1 Network Design and Configuration Assist in designing and configuring network components including routers switches firewalls and other devices Support network architecture planning to align with organizational goals and industry best practices Help configure and manage networking protocols such as TCP IP DNS DHCP VLANs routing and switching 2 Network Installation and Maintenance Participate in the installation configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software Support cabling activities device setup firmware updates and patch management Assist in ensuring optimal performance availability and reliability of network systems 3 Network Troubleshooting and Support Help diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues promptly Collaborate with IT teams to investigate and resolve network-related incidents Use monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify issues and support corrective measures 4 Network Security Assist in implementing and maintaining network security controls to safeguard data and systems Support firewall configurations access control settings and traffic monitoring activities Help identify potential vulnerabilities and support compliance with security standards 5 Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations diagrams and operational procedures Prepare reports on network performance capacity utilization and incident trends Contribute to updating and enhancing network policies procedures and best practices Required Skills Qualifications Strong understanding of networking fundamentals concepts and protocols TCP IP DNS DHCP VLANs routing switching etc Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and techniques Basic knowledge of network security principles and tools Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow technical guidance Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
