What Youll Do

- Develop Responsive Web & Mobile Apps:Design, code, and maintain responsive web applications and cross-platform mobile apps, delivering a smooth user experience across different devices and screen sizes. Ensure the UI is consistent and optimized for performance on web browsers, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Collaborate with Design & Backend Teams:Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect interfaces (using tools like Figma) and with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs. Translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code, and ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Feature Implementation & Optimization:Implement new features and enhancements for both consumer-facing (B2C) and enterprise (B2B) applications. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility. Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, debugging and fixing any issues in various environments.
- Code Quality & Testing:Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following industry best practices. Conduct thorough testing of web and mobile applications (unit testing, integration testing) and debug performance issues or UI inconsistencies. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
- Deployment & Maintenance:Assist in deploying web applications to production and mobile applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Monitor and address production issues or user feedback. Continuously improve the front-end architecture for future scalability, and keep up with emerging technologies to drive innovation in the product.

Youre a Great Fit If You

- Experience:25 years of professional experience in front-end web developmentandmobile app development. Proven track record of building and shipping user-centric web apps and mobile apps.
- Web Technologies:Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS), and JavaScript/TypeScript. Solid understanding of responsive design, web standards, and modern front-end build pipelines. Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library for web development, such asReact.js(preferred),Angular, orVue.js.
- Mobile App Development:Hands-on experience developing mobile applications using cross-platform frameworks likeReact NativeorFlutter(these two frameworks collectively dominate the modern cross-platform mobile development space).
- React Nativeexperience should include building native-like mobile UIs with JavaScript/TypeScript, whileFlutterexperience should include building apps in Dart with widget-based UI design. Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development is a plus.
- UI/UX & Design Tools:Ability to work with designers and convert Figma (or similar design tool) prototypes into functional front-end code. Strong eye for detail to implement pixel-perfect layouts and intuitive user interfaces.
- Version Control & Collaboration:Proficiency with Git and version control workflows (branching, pull requests) in a team environment. Experience using collaborative tools and agile methodologies to work in a fast-paced team setting.
- APIs and Backend Integration:Good understanding of RESTful API integration and handling data interchange between front-end and back-end. Experience working with JSON, and using tools like Postman for API testing. Familiarity with backend-as-a-service platforms such asFirebase(for authentication, database, push notifications, and analytics) or similar cloud services is required.
- Tools & Platforms:Experience with essential development and deployment tools. This includes build tools/package managers (Webpack, npm/Yarn), debugging tools (Chrome DevTools, React Developer Tools), and mobile app development tools (Android Studio, Xcode) as relevant. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment is a plus.
- Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot front-end issues on web and mobile. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Self-motivated and able to manage time to deliver features and fixes on schedule. Auser-first mindsetwith attention to detail, ensuring the applications delivered are intuitive, performant, and pixel-perfect.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

- B2C/B2B Domain Experience:Prior experience developing products for both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) audiences. Understanding of the different design and scalability considerations for high-traffic consumer apps vs. enterprise client applications is an advantage.
- Performance Optimization:Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization techniques on web (Lighthouse, Chrome DevTools audits) and mobile (GPU/CPU profiling tools). Experience in optimizing apps for fast load times, efficient memory usage, and smooth UI transitions.
- Testing & Quality Assurance:Experience with automated testing frameworks relevant to front-end and mobile (e.g., Jest, Mocha for JavaScript testing, Selenium or Cypress for end-to-end testing, and Flutters testing tools or React Native testing libraries).
- Continual Learning:Active participation in the front-end and mobile development community, staying updated with the latest trends (e.g., Progressive Web Apps, new framework releases, Google/Apple design guidelines updates) and bringing innovative ideas to the team.
