Job description Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering architecture and environmental consulting The diverse perspectives of our partners and interested parties drive us to think beyond what s previously been done on critical issues like climate change digital transformation and future-proofing our cities and infrastructure We innovate at the intersection of community creativity and client relationships to advance communities everywhere so that together we can redefine what s possible The Stantec community unites approximately 32 000 employees working in over 450 locations across 6 continents Responsibilities Functions under the oversight and supervision of a Senior Engineer Lead Designer Production of mechanical electrical and plumbing drawings and specifications for multiple critical facilities projects using Revit software Coordination of mechanical and plumbing designs through a BIM 360 process Ensure that drawings are checked approved and filed in accordance with company quality system Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 2 to 5 years of experience in Revit drafting and design within the Consulting Architectural-Engineering Environment Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit 2018-2020 Proficiency in Revit including Clash Detection Resolution Exposure to Building Systems Design Equipment Ductwork Piping Fire Protection etc for Mechanical Lighting Power Distribution Fire Alarm etc for Electrical Ability to Draft Mechanical and Electrical Building Systems Other Non-Technical Attributes as is standard for our India Operations Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications Proficiency in Spoken and Written English language Ability to be detailed oriented function in a multi-task environment follow complex instructions and meet fast paced deadlines Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment Ability to work overtime as required to meet client deadlines Primary Location India Visakhapatnam Organization Stantec IN Business Unit Employee Status Regular Travel No Schedule Full time Job Posting 17 01 2025 06 01 26 Req ID 1000742
