Job Description Primary Title: IB MYP Spanish Teacher Industry & Sector: Education K-12 international schools and IB curriculum delivery sector. We serve diverse student populations delivering inquiry-driven language acquisition programmes aligned to the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) across on-site campuses in India. This role supports whole-school literacy, intercultural understanding and bilingual development for learners aged 1116. About The Opportunity We are recruiting an experienced IB MYP Spanish Teacher to join a dynamic academic team focused on high-impact language instruction and holistic student development. The role requires designing engaging, standards-aligned units, assessing language progress, and contributing to an inclusive school culture that champions inquiry, critical thinking and intercultural competence. Role & Responsibilities - Plan and deliver well-sequenced IB MYP Spanish units that integrate language acquisition objectives, inquiry-based learning and cultural literacy. - Design and administer formative and summative assessments; use assessment data to adapt instruction and report progress to families and leadership. - Differentiated instruction to support a range of language proficiencies, including EAL learners and advanced students. - Maintain a safe, productive classroom environment with clear routines, behavior expectations and positive rapport with students. - Collaborate with MYP team members on curriculum mapping, unit planning, moderation and IB internal assessment requirements. - Engage with parents and guardians through timely communication, conferences and written feedback; participate in school events and professional development. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - Qualified teacher status or equivalent teaching certification - Demonstrable experience teaching IB MYP Spanish or equivalent international curriculum - Strong Spanish language proficiency (near-native or native) - Solid experience with formative and summative assessment design aligned to MYP criteria - Proven ability to plan differentiated lessons and scaffold language learning - Familiarity with digital classroom platforms and instructional technology Preferred - IB workshops or certification in MYP language acquisition - Experience in international or bilingual school settings - Additional language skills or experience with interdisciplinary unit planning Benefits & Culture Highlights - Support for IB professional development and ongoing teacher coaching. - Collaborative, student-centered faculty culture with a focus on wellbeing and growth. - Competitive compensation and opportunities for career progression within the school network.
