Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SAP CRM ABAP Developer with 6-8 years of relevant experience to join our team. As an SAP CRM ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing SAP CRM applications using the ABAP programming language with CRM functional knowledge.

Responsibilities

ABAP Development : Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs and enhancements within the SAP CRM system. This includes custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, and other ABAP objects as required.

Good understanding of CRM functionality and understand the requirement gathering better.

Must have Knowledge of Custom UI Component creation and UI Component.

CRM Application Customization : Customize SAP CRM applications based on business requirements. This involves configuring and modifying CRM business objects, data structures, screens, and user interfaces using CRM-specific ABAP development tools.

Integration : Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP CRM and other systems, such as SAP ERP, external databases, or third-party applications. This includes designing and implementing data exchange mechanisms, performing data validations, and ensuring seamless integration between systems.

Data Migration : Lead data migration efforts by designing and executing data migration programs to transfer data from legacy systems into SAP CRM. This includes data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading using ABAP and CRM data migration tools.

Performance Optimization : Identify and resolve performance issues within the SAP CRM system. Analyze ABAP code, database queries, and system configurations to optimize performance and enhance system efficiency.

Enhancements and Modifications : Analyze business requirements and provide expert-level input to implement custom enhancements or modifications to the standard SAP CRM functionality using ABAP programming. This includes creating custom fields, screens, logic, and workflows to meet specific business needs.

Support and Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for SAP CRM applications, including debugging and resolving complex ABAP-related issues. Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to understand and resolve system errors or malfunctions.

Documentation and Testing : Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, such as program specifications, technical designs, and user guides. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.

System Upgrades and Enhancements : Lead and contribute to system upgrades or enhancements by ensuring ABAP programs and customizations are compatible with new versions of SAP CRM. Modify and test existing ABAP code to ensure seamless migration to upgraded environments.

Continuous Learning and Mentoring : Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP CRM ABAP, including new features, functionalities, and best practices. Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to foster growth and development.

Requirements

6-8 years of proven experience as an SAP CRM ABAP Developer, with a strong track record in ABAP development and customization within SAP CRM.

In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP CRM architecture.

Strong understanding of SAP CRM functional modules, business processes, and integration with other SAP modules.

Good knowledge on SAP CRM 7.0 best practices in areas of CIC, Sales and Service and Functional Configuration experience in Account and Contact Management, Organizational Management, Transaction Types & Item Categories, Partner Determination Procedures, Action Profiles, Status Management, Data Management, Text Management, Categorization schema, ERMS, Pricing, Products, Middleware Monitoring and CRM WEB UI Configuration of Business Roles, WorkCentre's, Navigation Profiles, Technical Profiles, Transaction Launcher, etc

Extensive experience in customizing and enhancing SAP CRM applications using CRM-specific ABAP development tools.

Proficiency in developing interfaces and leading data migration efforts using ABAP and CRM data migration tools.

Expertise in performance optimization techniques in SAP CRM ABAP development.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex ABAP-related issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with functional consultants, end-users, and project teams.

In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP CRM architecture.

Strong understanding of SAP CRM functional modules, business processes, and integration with other SAP modules.
