Student Counselling and Guidance: Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and/or their parents to understand their educational goals, background, financial situation, and career aspirations. Advise students on suitable study destinations based on their academic interests, career goals, language proficiency, and budget. Provide detailed information on university options, programs, curriculum structure, admission requirements, and deadlines. Assess the eligibility of students for various programs and guide them in selecting the most appropriate options. 2. Application Process Assistance: Assist students with the entire application process, including filling out forms, writing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), and compiling transcripts and certificates. Ensure applications are submitted within deadlines and are complete and accurate to increase acceptance chances. Liaise with universities or colleges to resolve queries or follow up on applications. 3. Visa and Immigration Support: Guide students through the visa application process, including documentation, financial requirements, interview preparation, and embassy protocols. Keep updated on immigration rules and policies for major study destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and others. Provide pre-visa briefing sessions to prepare students for visa interviews. 4. Scholarship and Financial Aid Advising: Inform students about available scholarships, financial aid programs, and funding opportunities offered by institutions, governments, or third-party organizations. Assist in preparing scholarship applications, essays, and required documentation. 5. Pre-Departure and Orientation Support: Conduct pre-departure briefings covering topics such as cultural adaptation, travel arrangements, accommodation options, insurance, and other logistical details. Provide students with checklists, travel tips, and emergency contact information to help them prepare for their life abroad. 6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international universities, educational institutions, embassies, and third-party service providers (e.g., test prep centers, insurance providers, accommodation agencies). Coordinate with university representatives for campus visits, seminars, and information sessions. 7. Marketing and Outreach: Participate in or organize education fairs, school/college seminars, webinars, and promotional events to attract prospective students. Assist with the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, social media content, and presentations. Contribute to the centre’s digital presence through content writing, testimonials, or informative blogs. 8. Documentation and Data Management: Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, counselling sessions, application status, and visa updates. Use CRM tools or student management software to track interactions and follow-ups. Prepare monthly or quarterly reports on student conversions, visa success rates, and other performance metrics.Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet research, and email communication. Familiarity with student visa procedures and university admission processes in major countries. Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
