What you'll be doing:

- Server-Side Development: Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and databases
- API Integration: Create and manage APIs to support front-end and mobile applications
- Database Management: Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security
- Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications to requests from the front-end
- Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in the backend code
- Security Implementation: Implement security protocols to protect data and applications
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and conduct code reviews
- Testing and Debugging: Develop automated tests to ensure the functionality and reliability of applications
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and development processes
