Job Overview

The Driver Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and debugging of embedded software drivers related to Power Management ICs (PMICs) and SoC infrastructure. The role involves close collaboration with silicon, hardware, and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration of power control features and embedded core functionalities in cutting-edge platforms.

This role is critical in low-level system bring-up, power sequencing, and runtime management of SoC resources, contributing to energy-efficient and reliable embedded solutions in automotive, consumer electronics, or IoT domains.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain embedded drivers for PMIC and SoC infrastructure components.
- Support system-level integration and early-stage board bring-up activities.
- Perform hardware register-level debugging and validation using tools like Lauterbach and trace analyzers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address power management requirements, boot-time optimization, and system stability.
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through proper design practices, documentation, and reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in embedded systems software development.
- Strong command of C programming and low-level debugging techniques.
- Solid understanding of RTOS concepts (task scheduling, interrupt handling, timers, etc.).
- Knowledge of processor architecture, preferably ARM Cortex-A/R/M series.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Lauterbach, JTAG, or ETM trace tools.
- Experience in triaging complex hardware-software interaction issues.

Additional Good-to-Have Skills

- Prior work on bootloaders, power domains, or voltage/frequency scaling drivers.
- Familiarity with hardware abstraction layers (HAL) and Board Support Packages (BSP).
- Exposure to multi-core SoC environments and inter-core communication.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration (CI) tools, and basic scripting (Python, Shell).
