We are seeking an experienced Associate in Application Development for our Middle Office Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that support our Middle Office operations, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications for Middle Office functions.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Implement application enhancements and bug fixes in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing for application components.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users.
- Document application architecture, processes, and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in application development, preferably in a Middle Office technology environment.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., Angular, React, HTML, CSS).
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and tools (JIRA, Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
