to optimize connections and share best practices across the Tech Centers Role OverviewAn Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing implementing managing and supporting the infrastructure that enables an organization s IT systems and services to run smoothly This includes working with hardware networking virtualization cloud environments and security systems to ensure the organization s IT infrastructure is efficient reliable and scalable Infrastructure engineers often work closely with software engineers IT support teams and system administrators to optimize performance mitigate risks and deliver high-quality services to end-users What will you do in this role Programming and Scripting Experience in scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Shell scripting including the ability to write efficient and maintainable code to automate tasks and process data Automation and CI CD Understanding of automation principles and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment CI CD pipelines including knowledge of tools like Jenkins CI and CloudBees CD to automate build test and deployment processes Containerization Technologies Understanding and practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes including familiarity with container deployment management and troubleshooting What should you have Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or any Technology stream 3 years of hands-on experience working with network and system administration for Linux Unix and Windows servers Cloud Computing Platforms Experience or familiarity with AWS cloud services or other cloud platforms including knowledge of configuring and managing resources understanding core services and working with infrastructure as code Infrastructure as Code IaC Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like AWS CloudFormation Terraform or Ansible including experience using these tools to define provision and manage infrastructure resources programmatically Automation and CI CD Understanding of automation principles and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment CI CD pipelines including knowledge of tools like Jenkins CI and CloudBees CD to automate build test and deployment processes Programming and Scripting Experience in scripting languages such as Python PowerShell or Shell scripting including the ability to write efficient and maintainable code to automate tasks and process data Containerization Technologies
