Responsibilities:
Procurement Operations:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of spare parts and bought-out items for wind turbine service operations.
- Handle both domestic and international sourcing, including import documentation, customs clearance, and vendor coordination.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for Gamesa WTG spare parts and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers across India to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and payment terms with vendors.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination:
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient distribution.
- Monitor lead times, stock availability, and reorder points for critical components.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations (GST, import duties, etc.).
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor performance.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with service, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement with operational needs.
- Support technical evaluations and quality checks of incoming parts.
Requirements:
- 4–8 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the wind energy sector.
- Familiarity with Gamesa WTG models, spare parts catalogs, and service requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Pan India vendor landscape for wind turbine components.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Office.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
