GoDaddy's Security, Analytics and Products team is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our organization. Do you want to be an Information Security professional at GoDaddy We work out large-scale and cross-company security challenges while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains front of mind At GoDaddy, Security Engineers apply their strong hands-on technical skill to craft scalable solutions for multiple problems. You must communicate with GoDaddy Engineering teams, perform security assessments, prioritize security risks, and build. We, as a team, implement high-quality security engineering solutions. What you'll get to do... - Handle the everyday operations of the CSPM program by supervising the tooling, crafting rules, enhancing efficiency, guiding development teams, and establishing metrics. - Evaluate and implement (if owned by the team) automated security scanning solutions like container scanning tools. - Conduct build reviews, threat modeling, source code reviews, manual security testing, and cloud security audits for solutions within the cloud foundations space. Occasionally, such reviews will also be needed for other verticals. - Identify security vulnerabilities, assess risks, and drive resolution of security events, policy questions, and technical risks. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build consensus on security issues and communicate effectively with interested parties. - Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for development teams on cloud security guidelines and emerging threats. Your experience should include... - 8+ years of security engineering experience with skills in multiple security domains, including Cloud Security, Application Security, Network Security. - Operational knowledge of CSPM tools is essential while hands-on familiarity with an enterprise-grade CSPM tool is an added bonus. - Ability to assess solutions/architectures from a security viewpoint and formulate structured assessment plans. - Experience working with product development teams during the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using a security-by-design methodology. - Proven use of scripting/development skills (e.g., Python, Node.JS) to automate processes or define new security controls. You might also have... - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent experience that provided substantial exposure to the aforementioned areas will also position you for success in this position. - Certifications in cloud security such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP are advantageous.
