Job Description

- System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), and virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Network Administration: Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure connectivity, security, and performance.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and address IT-related inquiries.
- Security Management: Implement security measures, such as firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Patch Management: Apply updates, patches, and security fixes to servers and systems to keep them up to date and secure.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and network traffic, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations for optimal performance.
- Automation: Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and IT procedures for reference and training.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including contract negotiation and service level agreements (SLAs).
