We are a fast-growing technology startup working on advanced sensing and navigation technologies. Our team integrates mechanical, electronic, and optical systems into compact, high-performance devices. We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to bring mechanical concepts to life through accurate, manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design enclosures, mounts, and housings for compact multi-component hardware.
2. Incorporate mounting points, ventilation, cable routing, and weight optimization into designs.
3. Prepare STEP, DXF, and annotated drawings for prototyping and manufacturing.
4. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs meet mechanical, thermal, and assembly requirements.
5. Iterate designs based on testing feedback to achieve reliable and robust builds.

Requirements:

1. Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
2. 2+ years of CAD design experience (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar).
3. Knowledge of 3D printing, CNC machining, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
4. Strong skills in dimensioning, tolerancing, and interpreting technical drawings.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced prototyping cycles.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with compact electronics enclosure design.
2. Familiarity with thermal management and vibration isolation in hardware.
3. Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
