Who we are Teesta Investment is a pioneering proprietary trading HFT startup trading and market-making global digital assets in India We lead the market for various financial instruments and digital currencies and operate with exceptional expertise knowledge and global reach We are a firm that was founded on innovative forward thinking and professional approaches to digital asset trading which reflects in our daily operations We leverage our extensive knowledge of all relevant market trends developments from both technology and trading perspectives to help markets achieve price efficiencies Your role THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION ON-SITE BASED OUT OF OUR KOLKATA OFFICE As a motivated and detail-oriented HR Operations Executive you will support our Head of Human Resources with core HR functions recruitment initiatives and day-to-day operational and administrative tasks The ideal candidate will have prior experience in financial services quantitative investment or financial markets bringing an understanding of the unique needs of a fast-paced high-performance trading environment Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to Manage end-to-end recruitment sourcing screening scheduling coordination and onboarding with a focus on finance and technology talent at both the experienced level and at the campus level Maintain HR records employee data and ensure regulatory compliance with central and state labour laws Support in developing and implementing HR policies holiday management performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives suited to a high-performance culture Assist with payroll coordination employee on- and off-boarding employee benefits administration employer branding corporate gifting and liaise with finance Oversee office operations vendor management and basic facilities management Provide administrative support to senior leadership and coordinate across teams Coordinate manage both internal and external events and activities for staff and management Our needs Bachelor s degree HR Business Administration or related field preferred At least 3-5 years of experience in HR recruitment and or operations ideally within financial services quantitative investment or capital markets Familiarity with the unique requirements of hiring for finance tech and trading roles Possess strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Google workspace tools and experience with HRIS ATS systems is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced small-team high-stakes environment work independently multi-task and meet deadlines Strong analytical and number crunching abilities with an eye for detail Perks offered Access to In house snack bar and drinks Reimbursement for meals Fitness club Gym memberships Sponsorship for higher education academic endeavours Relocation benefits Health Insurance for candidate and their dependents We re looking for candidates who have a passion for pushing the boundaries of finance and technology and are keen to promote the cause of alternative assets and digital financial systems In addition you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment within a small agile team with fast-evolving roles and responsibilities variable workloads tight deadlines and a high degree of autonomy
