Role Overview:

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) for Rotimatic will be responsible for overseeing and managing contract manufacturers, ensuring seamless execution of production programs, driving cost, quality, and delivery excellence. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to optimize production processes, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Manufacturer (CM) Management

- Oversee the end-to-end engagement with contract manufacturers, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with CMs, fostering collaboration and accountability.

- Monitor production schedules, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure smooth execution of manufacturing plans.

Program Execution & Operations Excellence

- Lead program execution from prototype to mass production, ensuring operational readiness at CMs.

- Define and track program milestones, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Drive lean manufacturing principles and process optimizations to improve efficiency.

Technical & Process Engineering Coordination

- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability and process robustness.

- Identify and resolve technical challenges related to part assembly, automation, and yield improvement.

- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) practices in partnership with engineering teams.

Supply Chain & Cost Optimization

- Work closely with the Global Supply Manager to optimize sourcing strategies and ensure cost-effective production.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through value engineering and supplier negotiations.

- Ensure CM capacity planning aligns with forecasted demand.

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure contract manufacturers comply with Rotimatic's quality standards and regulatory requirements.

- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities.

- Conduct periodic audits and performance reviews of CMs.

Risk Management & Problem-Solving

- Proactively identify risks in the supply chain and manufacturing process and implement mitigation plans.

- Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for production issues.

- Ensure business continuity by managing alternate sources and contingency plans.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

- Serve as the primary point of contact between Rotimatic and contract manufacturers.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on program status, risks, and opportunities.

- Maintain program documentation, including timelines, KPIs, and cost analysis.

Key Deliverables:

- Successful onboarding and qualification of contract manufacturers

- Achievement of cost, quality, and delivery KPIs

- Implementation of process improvements for efficiency and yield optimization

- Risk mitigation plans and corrective action implementation

- Regular reporting on program status and CM performance

- Continuous collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 18+ years of experience in quality assurance/engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of Program management and manufacturing operations methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in statistical analysis and process improvement techniques.
