Business and technical specifications through Product Management and or client representatives Works on complex tasks projects or issues that involve a high degree of risk impacts business unit performance and makes use of the individuals high level of knowledge within one or more areas of specialty Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design and development enhancement to software Coordinates the activities with other team members and the product management team Specialized depth and or breadth of skills experience and proficiency Acts as expert technical resource to software engineering staff in the development testing and implementation processes Works without supervision with latitude for independent judgment Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies About the provides a scalable and modular investment accounting system that supports an exhaustive range of investment types asset classes and accounting methodologies Development team works in Agile Scrum framework consisting of members from Testing Development and Business Analyst groups Scrum team is responsible for project development based on client and internal requirements with expected quality within strict timelines What you will be doing Analyses designs programs debugs and modifies software enhancements and or new products used in local networked or Internet-related computer programs Code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially Interacts with product managers and or users to define system requirements and or necessary modifications Participates in software design meetings and analyses user needs to determine technical requirements Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements Writes code completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance Other related duties assigned as needed What you bring 10 Years of experience at minimum on below technical stack Java J2EE technologies Spring framework SOAP REST webservices SVN Database HTML Servlets JSP JDBC JavaScript SVN GIT TOMCAT servers OPTIONAL GIT CSS Hibernate JQuery AJAX Hands-on experience on Java Backend development Good knowledge of Object-oriented concepts and Oracle SQL Server required Knowledge of SQL is must Should have worked in Agile methodology Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models business process models use cases etc Excellent analytical decision-making problem-solving team and time management skills Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed Positive outlook strong work ethic and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts Willingly and successfully fulfils the role of teacher mentor and coach Knowledge of basic principles processes phases and roles of application development methodologies Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded Ability to deliver results under pressure Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills working with technical and non-technical individuals Ability to communicate effectively verbally
