Who is ExproWorking for our clients across the entire well life cycle Expro is a visionary full-cycle energy services expert offering novel insightful solutions dependable competency and award-winning safety Combining innovative future-facing technology with high-quality data across well construction well flow management and production subsea well access and well integrity and intervention we have a reputation for extraordinary performance that keeps our clients operations running smoothly Expro Group are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer 2 Test Engineer to join the Engineering team based in Hyderabad Overall Purpose of the JobTo lead multidisciplinary test activities for Expro s products and project development and to carry out testing as required in a safe professional efficient cost effective and timely manner Key Activities and Accountabilities1 To work in a safe responsible and cost effective manner in accordance with company procedures2 Be proactively responsible for Hardware and Systems test processes and activities for a range of Expro s products 3 Ensure test activities including root cause analysis and technical report writing are conducted within agreed timescales4 To be involved in the definition of define engineering and production standard tests5 To be involved in writing reviewing and approval of engineering and production test specifications and work instructions6 To lead in the Engineering Test change process and to ensure all test related changes are managed in a timely fashion 7 To lead test readiness activities during projects 8 To be involved in and prepare material for development design reviews9 To execute tests for functional integration regression and performance parameters10 To attend software release meetings and be involved in the release of software updates 11 Testing to cover embedded firmware microcontroller elements embOS software applications NET MVVM and database SQL based systems 12 To support and maintain engineering test equipment and fixtures including test fixture and script development using Test complete Labview National Instruments experience also desirable 13 To be involved and lead key work packages concerning Product Qualification and Compliance activities 14 To provide test equipment training where required to other staff 15 To employ a proactive team based approach within the Expro and to work with all disciplines 16 Experience in Agile development Rapid Prototyping Lean Techniques and Continuous Improvement activities is desirable 17 Complete other tasks that might be reasonably requested by the Senior Engineering Manager Job Knowledge and Qualifications At least 5 years previous experience in Test Engineering for a manufacturing company Experience of specifying ATE BEng or equivalent in electronics software firmware engineering or related subject Experience of manufacture of Oil and Gas related electronic mechanical assemblies desirable Experience of manufacturing within an ISO9001 approved company Competent with Microsoft Office programmes especially MS Word Excel Project Why ExproPeople are the most important And every Expro person engineers our future They are the drivers of our methodologies Expro people are confident They can draw out the right answer which attract the right clients At Expro we live by our values People Performance Planet and Partnerships People are always at the heart of our success Performance is getting it right first time every time We re committed to reducing our environmental impact and we build relationships with our customers to understand their needs The only way to apply for a job at Expro is on our website For more information around safe recruitment and how we recruit please visit our website at https www expro com careers how-we-recruit safe-recruitmentTo apply for this opportunity please click on the Apply button Find us at the following
