Kwalee creates engaging and innovative games that are easy to pick up and play Specialising in both the development and publishing of casual and hybrid casual games we also bring our creative touch to publishing PC Console titles ensuring a diverse and exciting gaming portfolio With a focus on fun and creativity we have made a mark in the gaming industry and strive to make the most fun games for the world s players Joining Kwalee means becoming part of a team that has reached over 1 billion players around the globe As we continue to grow we are now looking for a Head of IT to join our IT and Infrastructure team in our Bangalore office The Head of IT will be responsible for leading the IT department ensuring the efficient management and support of end-user computing cloud infrastructure and IT security This role involves strategic planning ensuring the security and integrity of the company s data and systems managing IT staff and collaborating with other departments to align IT initiatives with Kwalee s goals Responsibilities Lead the IT department aligning IT strategy with Kwalee s business objectives and ensuring technology initiatives support overall company goals Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-user devices manage software deployments and updates implement and maintain endpoint security solutions and conduct end-user training programs Monitor cloud infrastructure performance implement auto-scaling and load balancing manage cloud costs and conduct regular audits for best practices and security Use performance monitoring tools to track cloud and end-user systems analyse performance data to identify improvements troubleshoot issues with cross-functional teams and conduct performance tests Develop and implement security policies for end-user devices and cloud platforms conduct security assessments and audits implement security controls and respond to security incidents Implement data protection measures maintain data backup and recovery processes and educate end users on data protection best practices and privacy policies Stay updated on emerging technologies continuously improve processes and tools and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the IT team Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role Demonstrated success in managing infrastructure and desktop support teams Proven track record in implementing IT strategies Familiarity with the ITIL framework Previous cloud experience Based in our Bangalore office following our hybrid model with 3 days per week on-site Compensation Benefits The design of our compensation and benefits revolves around a people-first philosophy We have a supportive environment with a strong focus on development and wellbeing In structuring benefits across our offices we adhere to core principles and align with local standards Salaries are fairly benchmarked in accordance with background and skills against industry and location standards Our Talent Acquisition team will share more details with you as you progress in the recruitment process They re eager to connect with you and can t wait to have a conversation Kwalee
