Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform across AWS/GCP.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Harness/GitHub Actions to ensure fast, reliable deployments.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Create and maintain Helm Charts for application packaging and deployment.
- Manage source control and collaboration using Git and GitHub.
- Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and troubleshoot cloud and containerized services.
- Implement infrastructure best practices, security controls, and cost optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to define infrastructure requirements.
- Track work and progress using Jira to manage epics, stories, and tasks efficiently.
- Develop operational automation scripts and tools for repetitive tasks.
- Ensure disaster recovery strategies and infrastructure backup mechanisms are in place and tested.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Strong experience with Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience with AWS and/or GCP platforms and services.
- Deep understanding of Docker and container lifecycle management.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Proficiency in Helm for managing complex K8s applications.
- Hands-on experience building pipelines in GitHub Actions.
- Strong knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration workflows.
- Familiarity with Jira for project and issue tracking.
- Comfortable with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
- Solid understanding of networking, IAM, monitoring, and logging in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes CKA/CKAD.
- Experience working in a multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setup.
- Exposure to service mesh, observability (Prometheus, Grafana), or policy-as-code tools (OPA, Sentinel).
- Contribution to open-source tools or DevOps communities is a plus.
