Job Title: Shopify Developer Experience: 3+ Years Location: Remote Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and self-driven Shopify Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Shopify development along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores - Develop custom Shopify themes and modify existing themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Build and integrate custom apps, third-party apps, and APIs - Optimize store performance, usability, and responsiveness across devices - Implement SEO best practices and improve site speed and conversions - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions - Provide clear technical documentation and regular status updates Technical Skills Required: - 3+ years of experience in Shopify / Shopify Plus development - Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery - Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and custom app development - Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations (payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, etc.) - Experience with version control systems (Git) - Understanding of eCommerce best practices, performance optimization, and security standards Communication & Soft Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong ability to understand business requirements and explain technical concepts clearly - Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills - Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively - Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability Nice to Have: - Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce - Familiarity with React, Vue, or Hydrogen - Experience working with global clients or distributed teams
