Job Category General Management About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Ports SEZ Over the past few years we have evolved from a traditional port operator to a leading integrated ports services provider As the largest port organization for the past two decades we offer a wide range of services including cargo handling container terminal operations logistics port infrastructure development and maintenance Our expertise extends to multimodal transport solutions customs clearance port security and environmental sustainability positioning us as a key player in global trade and logistics Job Purpose Officer - Environment is responsible for reviewing and ensuring environmental compliance for ongoing and upcoming projects This includes managing Environmental Impact Assessment EIA reports coordinating with site teams and external consultants and ensuring alignment with environmental regulations and project timelines Responsibilities Implement OHS policies and procedures in allocated MPT area Ensure the Statutory requirements internal HSE standards and management audit requirement adherence Provide a strong focused support ensuring that OHS related risks are understood assessed reduced Conduct OHS audits Inspections across allocated area as per guideline Implement monitor safety working procedures compliances to control risks Ensure OHS requirements for the contracts projects MOC are reviewed with respective stakeholder Conduct Training to create OHS awareness and build competencies OHS MIS documentation maintaining records Support in Incident investigation process ensure CAPA compliance Qualifications Educational Qualification BSc BE B Tech in any stream Have Diploma in Safety Safety Engineering from State Council or from reputed institute Work Experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the EHS field Had worked in good reputed organization Preferably large scale handling people process complexity have working knowledge on safety Management behavior Safety etc Demonstrated organizational communication research and analytical skills
