Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant Accountant to join our finance team at BALAMANI INFRA a leading transport company This role involves overseeing daily financial operations ensuring accurate financial reporting and managing the company s accounts payable and receivable functions The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting ideally within the transport or logistics industry and possess a strong understanding of financial regulations and processes Key Responsibilities Invoicing Billing Generate and process invoices for transportation services including freight logistics and other transport-related services Ensure timely and accurate billing and follow up with clients for payment collections Track and maintain records of accounts receivable and monitor outstanding payments Accounts Payable Manage payments to vendors and suppliers ensuring timely settlement of invoices Track expenses related to fuel vehicle maintenance tolls and other operational costs Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in payments Payroll Management Assist in calculating and processing employee wages including drivers office staff and other personnel Ensure proper deductions for taxes insurance and employee benefits Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare payroll reports Expense Tracking Reporting Record and track daily operational expenses such as fuel vehicle repairs tolls and insurance Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking of financial transactions Taxation and Compliance Ensure compliance with local state and federal tax regulations related to transportation services including fuel tax and VAT GST Assist in preparing and submitting tax filings and other regulatory reports on time Cash Flow Management Monitor and manage the company s cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for daily operations Support the Finance Manager in budgeting and forecasting financial performance Vehicle Fuel Management Monitor and record fuel usage for the company s fleet of vehicles ensuring efficient fuel consumption Assist in tracking vehicle maintenance schedules and associated costs Record depreciation on company-owned vehicles and assets Audit Record Keeping Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits Maintain accurate records and documentation to support financial transactions Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and policies Financial Analysis Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend cost-saving initiatives or improvements Support in the preparation of financial forecasts and budget reports Client and Supplier Account Reconciliation Regularly reconcile accounts with suppliers and clients to ensure all payments and receipts are accurate Resolve any discrepancies between internal records and client vendor statements Qualifications Skills Technical Skills Proficient in accounting software Tally Prime excel Go GSt BILL Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel e g pivot tables formulas data analysis Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting Knowledge Understanding of transportation industry-specific financial management fuel management and operational costs Attention to Detail High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping Communication Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external correspondence Time Management Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 10 906 32 - 15 000 00 per month Language English Preferred Work Location In person
