Job Description Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, the primary responsibilities will include: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of client structures and tax-related relationships to ensure compliance with audit independence rules. - Analyze potential conflicts of interest and provide guidance on mitigation strategies. - Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Ethics, Risk, Legal, and Engagement teams to support independence decisions. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global regulatory standards and firm policies related to independence. - Document findings and recommendations clearly and accurately for internal review and audit purposes. - Support the development and enhancement of independence assessment processes and tools. Key skill requirements: - Strong understanding of audit independence regulations and global compliance frameworks. - Prior experience in tax advisory, compliance, or risk management within a professional services or Big Four environment. - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and sound judgment. - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple assessments simultaneously. Behavioral / team skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Effective time management and organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. - Self-motivated and able to work without supervision - Detail oriented and possess initiative - Positive work attitude, team player with strong interpersonal skills
