Company Description AECOM s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Senior Engineer - Rail - Low Voltage to join our team in Bengaluru About Enterprise Capabilities Fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption Enterprise Capabilities EC is AECOM s primary vehicle for workshare Operating across geographic boundaries and time-zones EC partners with regional and Global Business Line project teams to provide technical expertise accelerate delivery and keep AECOM competitive in the industry With a team of over 3000 technical professionals located across nine countries and remote technical anchors EC teams are trusted to deliver high-quality specialist services that help to fill capability gaps resourcing needs and technical constraints on projects of all scopes and sizes Lead and manage the delivery of electrical design packages across rail infrastructure projects Design of Rail Stations M E Rail Lineside M E Low voltage systems including but not limited to Platform Lighting LV Power Distribution Points Heating and Signalling Power Act as Lead Engineer or Contractor s Responsible Engineer CRE checker ensuring compliance with client requirements industry standards and safety regulations Prepare key elements of design deliverables including technical reports electrical calculations lighting calculations and CAD drawings in industry standard software Provide technical and commercial oversight including design planning risk management and quality assurance Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and constructible design solutions Ensure designs comply with all relevant regulations including CDM and Health Safety legislation Familiarity with the full project lifecycle - from feasibility and concept design through to detailed design and construction support Ensure designs comply with all relevant regulations including CDM and Health Safety legislation Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a wider delivery team Experienced in the use of international UK Network Rail and Railway Group Standards as well as the relevant British Standards and Eurocodes Qualifications Master of Engineering degree or equivalent education in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university Chartered Incorporated Engineer or actively working towards chartership with a recognised institution e g IET or Professional Engineer PE license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization 5 - 10 years of experience in railway Electrification Power design and delivery Experience in leading projects as a checker CRE or Lead Engineer Deep knowledge of Rail low voltage systems particularly Lighting Points Heating and Signalling Power Proficient in use of MicroStation ETAP AMETECH Trimble Pro Design Electrical OM and DiaLux Evo Strong technical writing Excellent communication coordination and stakeholder engagement skills A collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to lead mentor and influence others Additional Information At AECOM you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity Our Freedom to Grow hybrid working philosophy is the cornerstone of our success as a business -
