Company DescriptionWe re an end-to-end provider of premium products and services for global sport and media operators We push boundaries every day to offer the most reliable scalable engaging end-to-end offerings that continually meet and exceed fan expectations and maximise client value Underpinned by data we re able to determine the best experiences to drive business growth Deltatre provides strategy planning consultancy across all stages of our client s lifecycle PositionThe Finance Assistant will support the Finance Manager in performing the accounting activities and the bookkeeping recording and or controlling our financial transactions of the Indian Branch as well as of other entities of Deltatre Group located in Europe For this role you must be able to work on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days working in the Mumbai office in Goregaon Main Responsibilities include Day to day bookkeeping in all the accounting areas Cost and AP Bank transactions Fixed Assets monthly prepayments and accruals Accounts Payable AP Management Manage incoming AP emails Serve as the main contact for supplier communication Process all invoices into the accounting system for approval Tally for the India Branch Oracle Netsuite for other entities ensuring correct allocation to nominal codes project codes correct WHT and GST VAT rates applied Reconcile supplier accounts and allocate purchase invoices and payments in the accounting system Create Purchase Orders in coordination with Procurement central office in Italy and ensure invoices received are in accordance with the POs Expense and Reconciliation Tasks Process employee expenses and ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts Post and reconcile petty cash transactions Reconcile credit card statements including posting transactions and following up on missing receipts Participate in monthly balance sheet reconciliations including prepayments trade receivables trade payables and fixed assets Invoice and Payment Processing Ensure prepaid invoices are correctly captured when processing in the accounting system Enter payment run onto the bank weekly for approval Support and Collaboration Assist the Finance Manager with any AP-related issues Support the Finance Manager for Indian tax and compliance activities GST tax Support the Finance Manager with any other tasks as required Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team RequirementsMain skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively Confident communicator capable of interacting with individuals at various levels and resolving queries Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset Advanced MS Excel skills Tally and Oracle Netsuite accounting software experience desirable but not essential Other informationWe re looking for someone who is driven to push the boundaries and lead change and performance communicative to leave no-one in the dark and to work with your team successfully reliable so we know that we can call on you to meet deadlines passionate about the latest technologies and standards proactive to suggest improvements identify and fix potential issues solid technically speaking to advise both Clients and internal teams Our people are key to our success and we pride ourselves on offering a dynamic creative innovative and supportive environment Having the right combination of a can-do approach strong work ethic integrity friendliness and attention to detail is crucial Even if you don t tick all the boxes for one particular role but you have a keen interest in what we do send us your details we may find a suitable match during the interview process Deltatre consciously nurtures an environment where each and every team member feels safe to bring their whole selves to work in which everyone is valued and respected for who they are and what they bring Everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential and every team member is expected to treat everyone with dignity and respect value different perspectives use inclusive language and work in alignment with Deltatre s commitment to diversity and inclusion At Deltatre everyone is welcome and celebrated We are committed to ensuring that we provide equal opportunities for all Please let us know if you need us to make any adjustments or if you have any special requirements for the interview process Depending on the role this normally includes a written test and interview Please note that we will only contact successfully shortlisted candidates
