Job Summary A Site Engineer Civil is responsible for managing coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely on time within budget and according to specifications The role bridges the gap between the technical design team and on-site construction execution ensuring quality control and compliance with engineering standards Key Responsibilities Supervise and oversee day-to-day construction activities at the project site Ensure that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings specifications and safety standards Coordinate with project managers architects consultants and subcontractors Prepare daily weekly and monthly progress reports Verify and ensure the correct usage of materials tools and equipment Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design Resolve technical issues and provide on-site engineering solutions Manage manpower allocation and work schedules Maintain site documentation including measurements drawings and as-built records Monitor project timelines and suggest corrective actions to avoid delays Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with environmental and statutory requirements Qualifications Education Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Experience 1-5 years of experience in civil construction infrastructure or building projects varies by employer Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Office and project management software Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Problem-solving and analytical skills Leadership and team management capabilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Working Conditions Based on construction sites may involve travel and outdoor work Must adhere to strict safety and quality standards May require extended working hours during peak project phases Typical Employers Construction companies Infrastructure developers Real estate firms Government and public works departments Engineering consultancies Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Work Location In person
