Position DescriptionBusiness Division CorporateDepartment Finance AccountsLocation MumbaiPosition Title Team Member - Corporate FinanceLevel Middle ManagementReporting to Title Group CFOPosition PurposeThis incumbent of this role in the Corporate Finance team will support the organization s financial strategy ensure robust financial planning and oversee capital allocation to drive business growth and profitability This role is pivotal in maintaining financial health adhering to regulatory compliance and fostering relationships with stakeholders Strategic Responsibilities Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company s vision and objectives Manage budgeting forecasting and financial modelling to support decision-making Drive the preparation of annual operating plans AOP and align financial goals with business objectives Identify opportunities for financial restructuring cost optimization and investments Operational ResponsibilitiesFinancial Operations and Governance Oversee corporate accounting treasury tax planning and reporting functions Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations e g IFRS GAAP Develop refine and enforce financial policies systems and controls to minimize risks Lead audits statutory filings and ensure adherence to ethical financial practices Capital Management and Fundraising Evaluate and execute capital-raising opportunities including debt and equity financing Optimize working capital and cash flow management to ensure business continuity Collaborate with banks financial institutions and investors to secure funding Mergers Acquisitions and Investments Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions partnerships and joint ventures Assess ROI for capital projects and other strategic investments Performance Monitoring and Reporting Develop KPIs to measure financial performance and create actionable insights Present financial results business trends and forecasts to the Board of Directors Financial ResponsibilitiesPeople Responsibilities Attend trainings as per training needs identified or imparted by HR Share learnings with members of the team for cross functional development Identify development areas for direct reportees and implement action plans for development Education QualificationChartered Accountant MBA in Finance Equivalent QualificationWork Experience 10 years of experience in corporate finance preferably in the manufacturing or agrochemical sectors Proven experience in managing large-scale financial operations and leading teams Industry to be Hired fromFMCG Manufacturing AgriFunctional Competencies Excellent knowledge of Financial Reporting Accounting Ind AS Knowledge of IFRS Sound working knowledge of ERP - SAP system Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliances Budgeting Drive the preparation of annual operating plans AOP and align financial goals with business objectives Evaluate and execute capital-raising opportunities including debt and equity financing Conduct financial due diligence for potential acquisitions partnerships and joint ventures Interaction Complexity and Team WorkInteractionFrequencyPurpose of InteractionInternal CFO Finance Controller Controls Compliance team for different businesses other Functional Heads Business HeadsAs an when requiredConsolidation of accounts project capitalisation dissemination of information communication and implementation of policiesExternal Auditors Tax Authority Tax Advisors External Consultants BanksAs an when requiredFor any issues raised facilitating audits seeking advice on finance and accounting issues PI Industries
