Automation Test Engineer Location New York USA Workplace Type Hybrid About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team As an Automation Test Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products You will work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects improve test coverage and enhance the overall testing process The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing proficiency in automation tools and excellent problem-solving skills This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our innovative products Key Responsibilities Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium PlayWright and RobotFramework Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and design Contribute to the development and maintenance of the automation framework Integrate automated tests into the CI CD pipeline using Jenkins and GitHub Perform functional regression and performance testing as needed Document test plans test cases and test results Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and techniques Work in an Agile environment participating in sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives Required Skills Qualifications Sound knowledge of Automation tools like Selenium PlayWright RobotFramework Strong testing background test scenario preparation functionality testing Familiarity with CICD tools like Jenkins Github Experience with Agile methodology Hands-on experience with at least one programming language Java Python JavaScript Strong communication and teamwork skills Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and automation Experience with test management tools e g TestRail Zephyr Additional Information This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits We offer a collaborative and supportive work environment where you can grow your skills and make a significant impact Knowledge of Automation Framework setup is a plus We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company We do not discriminate on the basis of race religion color national origin gender sexual orientation age marital status veteran status or disability status The company is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees We encourage all qualified individuals to apply This role may require occasional travel to other company locations or client sites The successful candidate will be subject to a background check We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented individual who is passionate about quality and innovation If you are a highly motivated and skilled Automation Test Engineer we encourage you to apply
