Job Description Summary Position Summary T ax Consultant I Global Employer Services Operational Excellence Team Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited (Deloitte Tax in India) commenced operations in June 2004. Since then, nearly all of the Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax) U.S. service lines and regions have obtained support services through Deloitte Tax in India. We provide support through the tax transformation taking place in the marketplace. We offer a broad range of fully integrated tax services by combining technology and tax technical resources to uncover insights and smarter solutions for navigating an increasingly complex global environment. Are you ready to take the next step in your career to find new methods and processes to assist clients in improving their tax operations using new technologies If the answer is Yes, come join Global Employer Services Operational Excellence Job purpose: This position will work within our Operational Excellence (GES) horizontal on our tax technology operations team. As part of this team, you will collaborate with the product engineering teams and Digital Business leader(s) to help design new process/products and improve existing ones and provide world class digital experience to our clients and customers. You will also assist in our efforts to implement the product design process by incorporating latest industry standards. Key job responsibilities include the following: - Use your expertise to translate business and technical requirements into design interactional flows. - Structure, organize, and synthesize information to develop key insights on the group's operations in the US and India. - Analyze data to create actionable insights and outcomes. - Collaborate with teammates and internal stakeholders to help guide teams to utilize our product eco-system and guidelines for developing new services and functionality. - Successfully work with developers, project managers, and other internal teams to optimize processes for user-centered process thinking. - Work on several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. - Ability to innovate and visualize simple, intuitive experiences based on complex requirements. - Provide regular process/progress updates and status to the management. - Ability to communicate detailed requirement specs to internal teams. - Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for the bespoke process as necessary. - Drive operational improvements through process enhancements. Personal Characteristics: - Excellent written and verbal communications skills - Self-starter with solid analytical and problem-solving skills - Proactive and ability to manage upwards effectively - High level of attention to detail, ability to execute and deliver high quality project deliverables on budget and on time, and multi-task in a dynamic environment - Ability to think creatively for issue/problem resolution - Ability to integrate rapidly with existing team - Good organizational/planning and execution skills - Ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization - Strong work ethics & commitment to client service excellence Education/Background: College coursework:B.E / B.Tech Key Skills Required - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or any industry recognized professional certification. - Ability to manage operational performance and reporting cycles, including oversight of KPIs, opportunity pipeline, and impact tracking. - Ability to quickly turn around process requirements in a very agile, fast-paced environment and comfortable working on designs without all the product details - Foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with C#, .Net, Angular Scripting, SQL, Core Python, Tableau, Power BI - Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize activities and manage aggressive deliverable due dates and work plans. - Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, including experience working with virtual teams and senior leadership. - Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment with competing priorities. - Preferrable but not required: Experience working with GEN AI based OCR related tech like Azure Doc Intelligence. #CA-GSD #CA-HPN Our purpose Deloitte's purpose is to make an impact that matters for our people, clients, and communities.
