ArcelorMittal is looking for:
Senior Azure Cloud Engineer
Tasks:
The Team Lead mission will be:
- Design and implement applications in Azure Environment. Iaas – Linux / Windows
- environment
- Support Azure application and propose improvements
- Deploy Azure feature such as Azure update manager, Azure ARC, Inventory Manager
- Help to deploy best practices in DevOps
- Support Kubernetes/Docker deployments
- Implement Disaster recovery solution for Azure environment
- Utilize project management tools such as JIRA and version control systems like Git
- Provide support for production issues, including bug fixing, vulnerability fixes, and
- database optimizations
- Deploy immediate updates and fixes as required
- Create and execute the roll-out plan
- Emerging technologies / industry trends watch and apply them when relevant.
- All these activities must be handled in full compliance with the IT General Compliance
- rules and the SOX rules that are applied in the ArcelorMittal group.
What you will need:
- Cloud architectural design experience
- Containerization experience
- Over 4- 6 years of experience in Cloud Management and support
- Strong knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL / SQL, and MongoDB
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with the software
- development life cycle
- Expert in Azure update manager and azure back up
- Windows and Linux – Linux expert and good knowledge of windows
Other applicant attributes considered as a plus:
- Understanding of ITIL, SOX / ITGC principles.
- Flexibility and adaptability to new technologies and environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Azure certified
