Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity

Job Description Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. - 3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems. - 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products. - 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: - Experience with AI/ML technologies. - Experience in front end technologies like TypeScript, Angular etc. - Experience in Android, Android OS or embedded systems. - Excellent knowledge of product life-cycle, tools, processes and operations planning. In this role, you will work with the Engineering Productivity Team in India with a focus on delivering productivity platforms and artifacts for a global silicon software team. Responsibilities - Design of creative solutions to complex problems, write organized, clean and maintainable code with minimal assistance. - Build innovative solutions for Engineering productivity software components with focus on scale, high availability, quality and usage of Google Infrastructure. - Build systems to simplify the setup and maintenance of CI and code coverage. - Improve development efficiency across the silicon organization and possibly Google-wide through tooling improvements. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development process and influence technical decisions.
