Company Description ENGLISH Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company which provides a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries The Group believes it is the world leader in food environment pharmaceutical and cosmetics products testing and in agroscience CRO services It is also one of the global independent market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics discovery pharmacology forensics CDMO advanced material sciences and for supporting clinical studies In addition Eurofins is one of the leading global emerging players in specialty clinical diagnostic testing In 2018 Eurofins generated 4 2 billion Euro proforma turnover in 800 laboratories across 47 countries employing about 45 000 staff Position Summary Proposal Developer supports the overall functions of proposal development and will provide support to Business Development Directors when required S he reports to the Manager Proposal Department works closely with the Manager Proposal Department Vice President Contracts and Proposal Department Eurofins Business Development Eurofins Central Laboratory Scientific Affairs Transport and Kits and Supplies as key internal customers Career pathway to a Proposal Developer I Job Requirements Review clinical trial protocols and Request for Proposal RFP materials to develop competitive pricing strategy in conjunction with Scientific groups and Business Development Assist with all functions of Central Laboratory Proposal and Budget generation providing support for all Clinical Trials Business Development Directors and their clients Assist in strategy pertaining to proposal development in order to optimize proposal process Liaise between Eurofins sister companies and affiliate laboratories to obtain pricing as required Ensure global pricing strategy with laboratory and logistics staff globally Ensure clear communication with Clients as required Ensure all Proposal generation for timely delivery to clients interact with clients and participate in client meetings as required Assist with all areas of Central Laboratory Proposal and Budget generation including maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures SOP as required Assist and mentor in training of new Proposal Developers as required Qualifications Education Experience BSc MSc or equivalent in healthcare life sciences laboratory or clinical services preferred with 3 - 8 years of experience in Review of clinical trial protocols RFP Etc and preparation of proposals quote accordingly Additional Information Key Candidate Attributes Self-motivation excellent quality of work and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and internal external clients Ability to learn new tasks quickly and to move easily from task to task Ability to handle prioritization and multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to use a personal computer and learn necessary programs Good communication skills oral and written Organizational ability and good judgement Science background education and or laboratory experience Strong Math Skills Logical Thinking Good Reasoning Ability Motivation to excel Coaching mentoring of peers
