This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 8 years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced Front-End Engineer with advanced expertise in React.js and Next.js to lead the development and optimization of high-performance, modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end architecture knowledge, a passion for building scalable UI systems, and hands-on experience in performance tuning and best coding practices. Requirements Key Responsibilities - Design and implement responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces using React.js and Next.js. - Develop reusable components and maintainable UI architectures following modern front-end design principles. - Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions. - Optimize web applications for maximum performance, scalability, and SEO, leveraging SSR/SSG capabilities in Next.js. - Manage application state using Redux, Recoil, or Context API. - Work on secure and efficient API integrations, authentication, and role-based access control. - Ensure cross-browser compatibility, maintain code quality, and enforce front-end development standards. - Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering best practices. - Partner with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD workflows and release automation. - Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends. Technical Skills Core: React.js, Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript Styling: Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, CSS Modules, SCSS State Management: Redux, Recoil, Context API, Zustand Build Tools: Webpack, Vite, Babel Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright API Integration: REST, GraphQL, Axios, React Query Version Control & CI/CD: GitHub / GitLab, Jenkins, Vercel, AWS Amplify Other Tools: Storybook, Figma, ESLint, Prettier Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. - 8+ years of front-end development experience, including 3+ years focused on React.js and Next.js. - Proven track record of delivering large-scale, high-traffic, production-grade applications. - Deep understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindset. Preferred Skills - Experience with micro-frontend architectures. - Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
