Job Title: Copywriter Location: Mumbai Experience: 5+ years (FMCG/Food industry preferred) Department: Marketing Reporting To: Marketing Lead About the Role At Ceres Foods (home to brands like MOI SOI), we believe great storytelling builds great brands. We’re looking for a Copywriter who can think strategically, write passionately, and translate consumer insights into words that move, sell, and stick. This role is ideal for someone who loves food, understands culture, and can bring creative consistency across digital, print, and retail touchpoints. Key Responsibilities1. Creative Content Development - Write compelling, on-brand copy for advertising campaigns, product packaging, website, blogs, and social media. - Develop engaging content for ATL, BTL, and digital marketing initiatives. - Craft impactful communication for product launches, trade activations, and in-store branding. 2. Brand Voice & Consistency - Maintain and evolve the Ceres Foods brand tone of voice across all channels. - Ensure messaging consistency across digital, print, retail, and e-commerce platforms. - Adapt content style for varied audiences and formats. 3. Campaign Ideation & Storytelling - Partner with creative and marketing teams to develop integrated campaigns. - Create narratives that connect emotionally and build brand recall. - Support influencer and partnership collaborations with tailored messaging. 4. Digital & E-Commerce Support - Write optimized product descriptions and category content for e-commerce platforms. - Develop SEO-friendly website and blog content to boost organic reach. - Support social media calendars with sharp, engaging captions and ad copy. 5. Market & Consumer Understanding - Stay on top of consumer trends, competitor communication, and cultural insights. - Translate data and behavior into actionable content ideas. - Experiment with creative formats to drive engagement and differentiation. 6. Collaboration & Execution - Work closely with designers, brand managers, and digital teams to bring campaigns to life. - Manage multiple projects while maintaining high creative standards and accuracy. - Review and edit content for grammar, tone, and brand alignment. Desired Skills & Qualifications - Graduate/Postgraduate in English, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field. - 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in FMCG, advertising, or digital agencies. - Strong portfolio showcasing campaigns and multi-platform work. - Excellent command of English with a flair for storytelling. - Familiarity with SEO, social media, and digital trends. - Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
