Job Purpose:
This role is for a sub-function within the commercial team which applies machine learning and AI methods to solve fundamental problems in Business Intelligence domain to accelerate the transformation initiatives. Improved business insights in this space have the potential to be transformative, empowering commercial leads to make better and faster data-driven decisions.
We are looking for a Lead Business Analytics Process & Governance who is responsible for Outsourced Analytics & Business Process Services Governance
The person will work closely with one of our strategic partners to ensure service levels are met and that actions are driven where improvements are needed. The role will support activities related to the contracted SLAs and future re-contracting. It will work with ITSM process owners and technical leads to ensure the service runs efficiently and effectively. This includes the management of critical issues as and where they arise. It will support and facilitate deep dives into SLA failure and bring together the right people to remediate the issue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the Global Program Delivery & Operations, including schedule, risk, issues, changes, and dependencies.
- Serve as the governance lead, ensuring transparency, managing vendor delivery, and overseeing program compliance and risk management.
- Manage Central Capacity Reconciliation, Transparency, and Cross Prioritization.
- Oversee Program Compliance and Risk Management.
- Handle Vendor Management and Escalation Path.
- Ensure adherence to Program Principles and Governance Frameworks.
- Conduct Monthly Capacity Review and Prioritization.
- Lead Quarterly Pipeline and Planning.
- Oversee Delivery Governance.
- Manage Transformation Planning and Prioritization.
- Supervise IT Access, Training Compliance, CW Onboarding, Offboarding, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment on overall business goals and requirements and establish an operating rhythm to optimize process improvement.
- Champion a data-driven decision-making approach and culture to drive continuous performance improvement.
- Ensure processes are aligned with organizational strategic objectives and operational goals.
- Track and measure the performance of business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand process needs and ensure buy-in.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes.
- Support planning workshops and program steering committee meetings.
- Develop and mentor project managers and PMO team members for performance.
- Ensure processes comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Provide training and support to process owners and users on governance policies and procedures.
- Communicate process governance activities and performance to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Finance or related field and 6 to 8+ years work experience in outsourcing management, process improvement, and contract management
- Extensive experience of working with outsourced vendors, managing outsourced operations, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Proven experience in service governance or a related field.
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience using ServiceNow to check tickets and create reports
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement projects through a proven Change Management methodology
- Support budget planning, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial controls are followed
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proven track record in driving significant impact through contract negotiation
- In-depth knowledge of outsourcing and vendor management best practices
- Experience drafting contract terms, including payment terms, SLAs, penalties, and technology governance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams, bring others along the journey
