Role Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Application Support Engineer to provide first-level support for both internal and client-facing applications. The role involves monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application performance and uptime. Key Responsibilities: Provide first-level support for internal and customer-facing applications. Monitor system alerts, logs, and dashboards to ensure application stability and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to applications, servers, or databases. Escalate unresolved incidents to senior engineers following defined escalation protocols. Document issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with technical and functional teams for efficient issue resolution. Participate in shift operations or on-call rotations, as required. Learn and apply ITIL-based processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of OOPs concepts, Power Platform, Python, and SQL. Awareness of web technologies, APIs, and networking fundamentals. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and support processes. Exposure to automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Preferred / Nice to Have: Internship or academic project involving software troubleshooting or automation. Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
