Job Description Job Description NOV's Digital Technology Centre (DTC) in Kochi is looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead operations, growth, and administration driving scalability, innovation, and excellence across our expanding digital organization. Responsibilities - Works with the Talent Acquisition team to drive efforts to attract and hire top global talent by enhancing NOV's reputation and visibility. Help in cultivating a strong brand image. Promote NOV at events to boost visibility and attract top-tier DTC talent. Collaborate with HR on recruitment campaigns, showcase NOV's innovation focus, and position DTC as a tech hub. - Ensure continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders to uphold NOV's interests ensuring stakeholder buy-in and global alignment. - Foster trust and coordination with global teams to align local operations with organizational priorities to support DTC delivery goals. Maintain regular communication with international leaders for collaboration. - Side by side with HR and Organizational Development, work to cultivate an environment of innovation, collaboration, and employee engagement to uphold NOV values to Promote merit, fairness, continuous improvement, and team morale through structured programs. - Arrange Internal Events: Oversee events (e.g., soccer competitions, celebrations) to boost engagement and morale. Foster a culture of growth and create recognition initiatives for top performers. - Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure DTC alignment with NOV organizational goals. - Track metrics tied to innovation, project delivery, and global-local coordination. Create DTC Metrics: Analyze KPIs (e.g., capability development, responsiveness) to drive success. Report progress to leadership, adjust strategies, and ensure continuous improvement. - Work with HR to drive retention and growth through development programs and career progression. - Partner with HR to support talent management and development initiatives. Support Global leadership to define career progression plans. Organize training and mentorship programs. - Accelerate capability development and project delivery through seamless global-local alignment. - Create systems and procedures to enhance knowledge transfer, mentorship, and coordination with global teams. Implement knowledge-sharing plans. Build Trust with Out-of-Country Leadership and Organize collaboration events between to strengthen ties through structured processes. - Manage office operations, growth, and administration to support DTC scalability and efficiency. Ensure a conducive work environment to attract and retain talent. Plan office expansion to accommodate growth. - Ensure the DTC operates in compliance with local laws, regulations and NOV polices, IT security and ensure data security, and safeguard NOV's interests. Oversee facilities, admin staff, and HR alignment for a productive workplace. Work Closely with HR and collaborate on employee concerns and policy implementation. Manage Office General Administration Manager: Supervise the Office Admin Manager for efficient operations. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. - 10-15 years of overall experience and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, with a proven track record of managing large operations and technical teams. Familiar with engineering, product development, or R&D processes and best practices. - Industry Knowledge; preferably exposure to Oil and Gas industry. - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
