Core responsibilities

1. Work with various functional teams within the organization to understand the business use case and come up with a holistic functional solution, and be able to come up with different options
2. Work with stakeholders at different levels within each function to understand the individual requirements and put together a comprehensive Business Requirements Document
3. Develop a deeper understanding of the current products and applications and leverage past experience to come up with improvement ideas followed by a clear execution plan
4. Interact with the Engineering team to effectively translate the business requirements into technical specifications
5. Put together a complete project plan that covers all the phases of the product lifecycle from Concept to production; and track the product to closure
6. Perform User Acceptance Testing with the business stakeholders and ensure the product / feature has delivered the desired value
7. Work with external partners and vendors on product / feature integrations and custom development activities
8. Perform build vs buy evaluation for major feature developments and do detailed product evaluations and come up with detailed recommendations
9. Perform regular market and competitor research and look for opportunities to make continuous improvements to the products / applications
10. Mentor and guide juniors in the team and do performance evaluations

Core Skills required:

1. Deeper domain understanding specifically lending and payments domains, having worked on multiple engagements in these domains
2. Working experience on any of the major LOS / LMS solutions and one or more payment solutions is a must
3. Prior working experience in core product companies especially LOS / LMS and Payment domain related products.
4. Experience working with business stakeholders at multiple levels in the hierarchy, right from CxO level executives.
5. Excellent communication and articulation skills
6. Should be a go-getter and have bias to action
7. Has worked on different software delivery life cycle processes, with strong experience in pure-play agile delivery models
8. Overall professional experience of 8-9 years, preferably product-based organizations
9. Engineering Degree along with MBA in the relevant field of study
