About the group (SD): All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers.

Org Structure Where is this position placed in the organization: Schneider Digital is segregated into various verticals and one of the verticals is Enterprise Systems, this vertical is further classified into Domains. This individual contributor role is part of the Finance Domain.

About the role: Manage the application landscape for the Finance, Tax and Accounting scope (usage, costs, obsolescence, target) and contribute to (propose and/or perform) rationalization activities in order to reduce legacy applications. Accountable for the data quality of applications in their scope. Develop strong knowledge, their functionalities and related technologies. Maintain close contact with other teams in order to align strategy and execution of projects at all levels (global / local)

Qualifications & Certifications

1. Engineering Graduate or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

1. In-depth knowledge on technologies/products/platforms for Tax and Accounting (more focused on Tax)
2. Go-to-person for all technical information

6. Managed application landscape for Finance, Tax and Accounting
7. Experience in automating processes as well as deployment of Artificial Intelligence use cases
8. Good knowledge of SDLC and various Software development frameworks
9. Hands on experience on Business Process Management (BPM)
10. Good knowledge of Business Analysis

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

1. Ensure Delivery teams are taking every measure for the upkeep of applications
2. All IT security aspects of the application are addressed and maintained
3. Well defined Disaster Recovery Plan is in place, tested regularly
4. All applications are adhering to the IT Security framework and requirements
5. Manage all technology related escalations, ensuring nothing goes to the next level
6. Ensure application are future proof w.r.t infrastructure, performance and overall capacity
7. Plan to addressing the growing needs of Business
8. Provide all the required Digital/Technology support to Business to Digitize and automate their processes

Desired Skills (Nice to have in addition to the Required Skills)

1. Knowledge Supply Chain processes which would help in analyzing requests from a end-to-end perspective at a organization level

Shift Timings

This is a Global Project spanning several countries in various time zones. Depending on the need the requirement would be to work in different time zones including US time zones.
