Sports Physiotherapist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sports Physiotherapist to join our team The successful candidate will be responsible for the prevention assessment treatment and rehabilitation of sports and exercise-related injuries You will work closely with athletes and physically active individuals to optimise their performance facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose sports-related injuries Develop and implement personalised rehabilitation programs Provide immediate on-field care and emergency response during sporting events Design injury prevention strategies and training programs Monitor athlete progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Collaborate with coaches trainers and other healthcare professionals Educate athletes on proper techniques injury prevention and self-care Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation Apply manual therapy techniques therapeutic exercises and modalities Support athletes physical and psychological well-being during recovery Requirements Educational Qualifications Bachelor of Physiotherapy BPT or Bachelor of Science BSc in Physiotherapy - Mandatory Master of Physiotherapy MPT in Sports Physiotherapy Orthopaedics or related specialisation - Preferred Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy - Desirable Valid physiotherapy license and registration with the respective state council Certification in sports physiotherapy or sports medicine - Advantage CPR and First Aid certification - Required Experience Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience in physiotherapy At least 1-2 years of experience working with athletes or in sports settings Experience in treating sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities Prior experience working with sports teams or athletic organisations - Preferred Internship or clinical rotations in sports physiotherapy during education Additional Requirements Strong knowledge of biomechanics exercise physiology and sports science Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Willingness to travel for sporting events when required Benefits Compensation Remuneration Competitive salary package 5 50 - 8 00 lakhs per annum based on qualifications and experience Additional compensation for national-level or professional team assignments Performance-based incentives and bonuses Travel allowances for sporting events and away games Overtime compensation for evening and weekend work Benefits Package Health insurance coverage medical dental and vision Professional development opportunities and continuing education support Sponsorship for advanced certifications and specialized training courses Conference and workshop attendance allowances Access to state-of-the-art sports medicine facilities and equipment Paid time off annual leave sick leave and public holidays Career advancement opportunities within sports organizations Networking opportunities with elite athletes and sports professionals Additional Perks Flexible work arrangements when not traveling Access to sports facilities and fitness programs Team merchandise and apparel
