Job description Some careers shine brighter than others If you re looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist In this role you will To effectively manage the Enterprise Infrastructure EI functions Level 3 server support Hands on experience across Entities in India HDPI HTI INM HIFSL HSCI AMIN which comprises of IT equipment such as servers in ensuring high service availability for business Ensure to provide IT Operations support on 24 7 basis by managing the complete server estate with optimum standards in providing good customer services to IT End users by maintaining high IT Quality and providing timely solutions to meet business requirements To understand business needs that translates them into IT designs and contribute towards defining the post-implementation support requirements To undertake the end-to-end implementation of server infrastructure-based hardware and software products in line with agreed service agreements To Provide Level 3 Hands on experience Real time experience of 10 years Support for Technical Services that encompasses all aspects of processor hardware operating system software infrastructure software databases middleware and certain applications in providing resolving through maintenance of an effective relationship for the Group with various IT vendors suppliers and partners Specialize in Virtualization technologies Mandatory knowledge on Storage devices storage connectivity Firewalls Strong understanding on DNS DHCP and Network connectivity etc Produce schedules and plans for successful delivery of projects demonstrate progress and highlight risk or deviation through engagement and clear dialogue with management and key stakeholders Real time experience on Datacenter On-Premises experience is mandatory Strong knowledge and expertise on platform side Windows is required for this role Requirements To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements Familiarity with India Regulatory IT guidelines and ability to face of external auditors Familiarity in infrastructure configuration of end-to-end India payment system landscape Strong Knowledge on Change Management Incident Management High knowledgeable and hands on current technologies Understands and adapts to new technologies Demonstrate effective teamwork and harmonious team environment through sharing of knowledge and support best practices Certifications will add advantage to this role Specialist knowledge in at least one of the technical disciplines such as programming system configuration database administration database design performance and capacity management or scheduling Commercial awareness and an ability to understand and interpret business and IT requirements You ll achieve more when you join HSBC HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by - HSBC Software Development India
