This position will lead the Business Analyst activity for the U.S. Operations and Supply Chain team. This is a growth-oriented business that is part of a global group engaged in import, warehousing, distribution, and some amount of tire to wheel assembly. This role will support the US Operations team by providing analysis and assessment of operational and financial results to support decision making and continuous improvement. This role is highly visible and integral to the effectiveness of the team and supports them across the U.S. on projects requiring a higher level of analytical ability and/or urgent matters at the Company. This position provides support on the analysis, dashboard and key performance indicators (KPI's), forecasting, budgets, initiatives, and presentations to the Yokohama Off-Highway Tires leadership team. This role will is expected to work cross functionally with the Operations and Finance Departments to drive execution. As such, the reporting will be direct-line to Operations with a dotted-line into the Finance department. Additionally, the role is to reside in Mumbai, India to leverage connection to members of the Finance team. 2: Organisational Relationship (Provide an organisational chart which illustrates the role structure above and below and parallel to this position). 3: Duties & Responsibilities (List in the order of importance the duties & responsibilities of this job) Decision Making Authority (This will be for every job allocated to the individual) Refer to the Decision making box for detail information Schedule A - Construct analysis on inventory, freight, and some specific cost centers to help leaders understand performance and drive improvement. - Create and distribute daily, weekly, monthly reporting to the team while simultaneously working to automate and streamline that reporting as opportunities arise. - Compile monthly Operations Review presentation (taking data and some slides from others on the team) and assisting in the creation of short presentations for monthly Vertical P&L Reviews with YOHT leadership. - Organize and ensure useful nature of regional sales staff meeting and sales review through use of meaningful data. - Develop good understanding of departmental processes to identify and drive continuous improvements. - Support and sometimes lead improvement projects with cross-functional teams. Goals are often to gain results but also coach team members on processes and/or how to handle specific data. 4: Key Result Areas (List the key deliverables that quantify successful performance in the role).
