Job Description Key Responsibilities CMDB Management - Maintain and update the CMDB within ServiceNow, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies. - Develop and implement processes for identifying, recording, and managing configuration items (CIs) and their relationships. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure all CIs are accurately recorded and updated. Data Integrity & Quality - Perform regular audits to ensure CMDB data integrity and quality. - Identify and rectify data discrepancies and inaccuracies. - Develop and enforce data quality standards and processes. Process Development & Improvement - Design and implement configuration management processes and workflows to improve efficiency. - Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into effective CMDB solutions. - Continuously monitor and enhance CMDB processes aligning with industry best practices. Integration & Automation - Integrate CMDB with other IT systems and ServiceNow modules like Incident, Change, and Problem Management. - Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and tools to automate CMDB tasks. - Collaborate with IT operations to ensure seamless system integration. Reporting & Analytics - Generate reports and dashboards reflecting CMDB health and status. - Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Provide regular updates and insights to management and stakeholders. Training & Support - Train IT staff and stakeholders on CMDB processes and best practices. - Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for CMDB-related queries and support.
