Job Responsibilities for Technical Lead Code Connect Portal

The FIS Code Connect Portal team is made up of 30+ people. Our team is responsible for end-to-end delivery of requirements. We are into coding and deployment of applications in all environments. We also provide support for our clients. Our team serves in America, Australia and Western Europe.

What You Will Be Doing

This role will be responsible for design, development and delivery of API Gateway based solutions and applications.

Meeting with Product Owners.

Taking ownership and provide guidance to other team members.

Should be able to create solution design documents.

Should be flexible to work in different time zones.

What Will You Bring

Knowledge of FIS products and services, financial services industry is a plus.

Knowledge of API Gateways (like WSO2, KONG etc)

Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, e.g., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development

Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.

Experience of using project management like JIRA, Confluence, Rally etc.

Has team leadership duties, including instructing, assigning and checking the work of other Software Engineers. Assists in planning, organizing and controlling the activities of the team.

Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.

Experience of creating project artifacts like business requirement document, functional specification document, integration/system test document etc.

Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for FIS clients.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.

Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.

Technical Set - Angular; Java; Node.js; Python (Programming Language); Snowflake (Platform); Spring Boot; Spring Framework; ThoughtSpot (Software)

Educational Qualification

- B.E., B.tech, MCA
