Job Description Job Description Purpose of the role To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution. Accountabilities - Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. - Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes. - Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes. - Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency. - Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations. - Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Analyst Expectations - To meet the needs of stakeholders/ customers through specialist advice and support - Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard which will impact both the role itself and surrounding roles. - Likely to have responsibility for specific processes within a team - They may lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources. Join us as a Legal Business Analyst at Barclays, where you will support the legal function by providing an end-to-end Procure to Pay assistance, helping them managing external third party spend, matters and portfolios, assisting queries from both internal teams and external vendors. The Legal Matter Analyst role will be responsible for providing operational support to the Legal Function. To be successful as a Legal Business Analyst, you should have experience with: - Graduate is minimum required. - Banking operations experience OR Procurement Industry experience. - Strong analytical skills and ability to consider wider objectives. - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. - Taking full ownership and accountability of tasks to completion through effective prioritisation and a commitment to teamwork . - Facing customers / clients in their current role. - Strong Understanding of regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards. - Extensive problem-solving skills required along with a solution-oriented approach. - Strong Excel and analytical skills. - Outstanding Stakeholder management skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - The ability to identify, address and where necessary escalate key risks and issues. - Excellent time management and personal organisation skills. - A team player but self-reliant and able to work proactively. Desirable Skills/Good To Have - Commerce Gradate. - Knowledge of Procurement (P2P) cycle and operations. - Coupa Knowledge. - Portfolio Management experience. - Experience in reporting.
