- At least 5 years of Backend Development experience in Python leveraging RESTful APIs.
- Intermediate to Advanced level expertise in Python along with solid understanding of OOP concepts and asynchronous programming is a must.
- Good Command over TDD (Test driven development) - Hands-on experience in using PyTest/Unit test module and mocking the 3rd party APIs as part of Unit and Regression tests.
- Must be a pro in Flask/Fast API, SQL Alchemy and PostgreSQL tech stack. Previous experience in carrying out Data/Schema migrations using Alembic is a huge plus.
- Experience in debugging System/IT service level production issues to isolate root causes and work through permanent resolution to ensure production stability.
- Quick learner - Understand the requirements well in the ModelOps (CI&CD) ecosystem, Observe the patterns and Draw analogies with the existing implementations without getting overwhelmed by any newly introduced tools/languages in the course of implementation of functional requirements.
- Exposure to machine learning models leveraging scikit-learn and associated libraries.
- Exposure to various python frameworks and ability to assess python model performance bottleneck and optimization techniques.
- Secondary Skills: Understanding of NGINX Load Balancers, Istio Service Mesh, API Gateway is a plus.
- Secondary Skills: Pyspark exposure to handle complex data pipelines is a plus.
