The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with proven expertise in managing Security Operations Centers (SOC), penetration testing, red team consulting, and leading technical teams. This role also requires hands-on involvement in client solutioning, pre-sales, and commercial activities. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote flexibility with on-site collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 13-15 cybersecurity professionals, ensuring high performance, continuous development, and effective collaboration. Oversee the operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring timely detection, response, and mitigation of security threats. Provide technical leadership in penetration testing and red team exercises, ensuring the highest standards of security assessment and threat simulation. Act as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, delivering technical solutions and guidance to clients across various industries. Engage in pre-sales activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, presentations, and proposal development for cybersecurity offerings. Support sales and commercial teams by providing technical expertise, participating in client meetings, and contributing to business development strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, threat landscapes, and emerging technologies to ensure best-in-class security practices. Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement within the team and the broader organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 12-15 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with a strong track record in SOC management, penetration testing, and red teaming. Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring teams of 10+ members. Extensive experience in client-facing roles, providing technical solutions and consulting services. Proven involvement in sales, pre-sales, and commercial activities within the cybersecurity domain. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to security challenges. Preferred Skills Experience working in a hybrid work environment and managing distributed teams. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and security compliance. Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices. Business acumen and ability to align security initiatives with organizational objectives.
