Oracle Fusion PaaS Technical Lead

Job Description Job Title Oracle Fusion PaaS Lead (VBCS, OIC, OPA, ORDS) Experience Level - 12+ years total IT experience (with 5+ years in Oracle Cloud PaaS) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion PaaS Lead to design, develop, and lead cloud-based integration and extension solutions using Oracle Cloud Platform services such as VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service), OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), OPA (Oracle Process Automation), and ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services). The architect will play a key role in defining technical strategy, integration architecture, and best practices for Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS + PaaS) implementations. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design - Design scalable, secure, and high-performance PaaS solutions to extend and integrate Oracle Fusion SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM, CX) applications. - Define integration and extension architectures leveraging OIC, VBCS, ORDS, and OPA. - Develop end-to-end solution blueprints, data flow diagrams, and interface specifications. - Ensure adherence to Oracle Cloud architecture best practices, performance optimization, and security compliance. Development & Implementation - Lead the development of custom web and mobile apps using VBCS and JET (JavaScript Extension Toolkit). - Implement integrations and automations using OIC (App Integration, Process Automation, File Transfer, B2B). - Design and implement decision models and business rules using OPA for dynamic business logic. - Develop and publish REST APIs using ORDS for secure data access and integration with external systems. - Perform hands-on troubleshooting, code review, and optimization. Technical Leadership - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across multiple PaaS technologies. - Collaborate with Functional Consultants, SaaS Leads, and Enterprise Architects to ensure cohesive solution design. - Lead POC (Proof of Concept) initiatives to evaluate new Oracle Cloud services. - Define governance, deployment standards, and DevOps pipelines for PaaS development and integration. Project Delivery & Documentation - Support full project lifecycle from requirement gathering to production deployment. - Create and maintain architecture documents, integration maps, and technical design documents. - Participate in solution review boards, technical audits, and architecture governance processes. Required Skills & Experience - 12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years as an Oracle Cloud PaaS Lead . - Strong expertise in: - Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) adapters, orchestrations, mappings, lookups, and error handling. - Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) UI design, business objects, service integrations, and JET-based components. - Oracle Process Automation (OPA) rules authoring, decision models, and integration with Fusion SaaS. - Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) REST API development, PL/SQL exposure, and SQL-based services. - Deep understanding of Fusion SaaS (ERP/HCM/SCM) data models and APIs. - Proficient in REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON/XML, and OAuth2/SAML security. - Experience integrating with third-party applications and on-prem systems. - Strong command of SQL/PLSQL, JavaScript, and web technologies. - Familiar with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, OCI DevOps, Terraform preferred). - Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, Project Management skills. Preferred Qualifications - Oracle Certified Professional in OIC or Oracle Cloud Platform. - Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), APEX, and Autonomous Database. - Prior experience in large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations (ERP, HCM, CX). - Agile and DevOps delivery experience. Educational Background - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Oracle Cloud certifications preferred.
