Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense prescription medications accurately to patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide counseling and advice to patients on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and controlled substances.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety guidelines related to pharmacy operations.
- Manage inventory levels, order medications, and check expiry dates to prevent stock shortages or wastage.
- Participate in health promotion activities and educate patients about wellness and disease prevention.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Stay updated with new drugs, treatments, and pharmaceutical developments.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
- Valid pharmacist license or registration as per regulatory authority.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy settings.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug formulations, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and pharmacy operations efficiently.
